Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2018 Coachman Prism Motorhome we're gonna be checking out the Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar. Before we jump right in and start talking about the tow bar I figured it'd be useful just to kind of touch base and refresh yourselves on the main parts that we're gonna need to flat to our vehicle down the road in the first place. There's gonna be a total of five main components that you're gonna need. First one's gonna be the base plate and what that's gonna do is provide us with a solid and reliable connection point. And this is available for a multitude of different kits to match up to your base plate, whether you have an etrailer, a Demco, a Curt, a Blue Ox, or even a Roadmaster. And that's what actually securely mounts to the frame or bumper support on the vehicle, creating a hook up point for your tow bar. more

Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Coachmen Mirada Motorhome- Video
Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Rambler Tow Bar on a 2018 Coachmen Mirada. Now, this tow bar is gonna be compatible with your Curt Base Plate or your Blue Ox Base Plate. So it has this style here. And your tow bar is just simply gonna make the connection between that base plate and the hitch of the RV. And this tow bar is a pretty heavy duty tow bar, in the fact that it can handle up to 7,500 pounds of that towed vehicle. more

Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Coachmen Mirada Motorhome- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Blue Alpha 2 tow bar on a 2018 Coachmen Mirada. Now this tow bar is gonna be great for your etrailer, Demco or Blue Ox base plates and you can actually get adaptable arms for the base plate of your road master to work with this as well. Now there's five main components when flat towing a vehicle, and starting on the vehicle side, you're going to have your base plate and that's simply going to attach to the frame or the bumper support of the vehicle to give us dirty connection point for your tow bar to connect. Now on your base plate, a lot of times you're also gonna have your safety chain loop integrated as well. So the next point that we need is our tow bar and that's gonna be the connection point between that base plate and the hitch on the RV. Now you're also gonna have those safety cables like I mentioned before, with your safety chain loops here, and these are gonna criss-cross under here to the RV hitch, and that way, in case of an accidental disconnect, you still have these cables holding onto the vehicle. more
